Wexford part company with Brian O'Sullivan

First Division Wexford have parted ways with first-team manager Brian O’Sullivan a near three-year spell at the club.

The Slaneysiders have endured a winless start to their 2021 campaign, and have conceded 11 goals without reply in their last two league games.

O’Sullivan took charge of Wexford initially midway through the 2018 season on a caretaker basis, before being appointed as permanent boss at the end of that season.

“Wexford FC wishes to advise that first team manager Brian O'Sullivan has left the club by mutual consent,” a club statement read this evening.

“We would like to place on record our gratitude for Brian's hard work and commitment to the club over the last two and a half years or so and wish him every success in the future.

“For the moment, the first team will be managed by the coaching staff within the club. The process to appoint a permanent replacement starts straight away.”
