Former Longford Town and Bohs winger Ayman Ben Mohamed joins Turkish SuperLiga side Denizlispor Kulubu

Former Longford Town and Bohemians winger Ayman Ben Mohamed has joined Turkish SuperLiga side Denizlispor Kulubu on loan from French side Le Harve.

Denizlispor Kulubu currently find themselves bottom of the Turkish top-flight.

Ben Mohamed joins on loan from Le Harve where he has fallen out of favour at in the past couple of months.

The Tunisian international earned his first-call up in 2016, and he has since gone on to make 12 appearances for his country.

The 26-year-old began his League of Ireland career in August 2012 with UCD having joined from St Joseph’s Boys.

After a couple of seasons at the UCD Bowl, Ben Mohamed then made the move to Longford Town ahead of the 2015 season.

While in the Midlands, the winger made 27 appearances for the then Tony Cousins managed side, scoring three times in the process.

He would then join Bohemians in 2016 – but he would stay at Dalymount Park for eight months before joining Tunisian giants Esperance in August of that year.

After a spell at Esperance, he then joined Le Harve – a French second-tier side – in 2019.

And he has since made the move to Denizlispor who are in the midst of a relegation battle and five points from safety.
