Wexford re-sign defender James Carroll for 2021 season

First Division Wexford have re-signed defender James Carroll ahead of the 2021 season.

The 20-year-old re-signs for the Slaneysiders having played the joint-most number of games for the club during the 2020 campaign.

The former Dundalk under-19 starlet re-joins the club along with fellow defensive partners Dan Tobin and Paul Cleary.

He scored his solitary goal for Wexford during their FAI Cup defeat at the hands of Athlone Town in August after extra-time.

Prior to his stint at Dundalk, Carroll was previously of Drogheda United where he made one senior appearance for the Boynesiders.
