Jaze Kadia had an eventful 25-minute debut as he helped Livingstone come from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Celtic on Wednesday night.

The Corkman was struck in the face by Scott Brown and the Celtic captain was shown a straight red card in the dying stages as the champions’ season unravelled further in the snow.

The former Cobh Ramblers and Shelbourne winger also struck an effort wide of the target in the dying stages as Livi made it ten games unbeaten.

Ciaron Brown had fired the home side into an early lead before goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Nir Bitton turned things around before the break.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas levelled for Livingston on the hour just three minutes after Kabia had been introduced for his first run-out in Scottish football.

Brown, who was a late introduction himself, then seemed to take two swings before making contact with the 20-year-old’s face and was quickly dismissed.

Celtic, for whom Shane Duffy played 90 minutes, are now without a win in four games and 20 points behind league leaders Rangers, albeit with two games in hand.
