Former UCD winger Simon Power has completed his move from Nowich City to League Two side Harrogate Town.

Town have won two of their last five league games and find themselves in 18th position in the table with their new man hoping to add to their performances when they take on Exeter City tomorrow evening.

Power has had a number of loan spells since he first left for England back in 2018, with the most recent of those at Kings Lynn Town where he scored twice in 11 appearances.

Harrogate manager Simon Weaver speaking to his club's website team, was excited to secure his sixth signing of the January transfer window.

“We’ve liked Simon for a while now, we knew about his last Summer at Norwich and he’s gone and nailed it with his performances at Kings Lynn out on the right left, or up front.

“He’s a real pacy player who is very direct in his style and I think he will excite the supporters.”
