Republic of Ireland international Adam Idah has tested positive for Covid-19 after the latest round of EFL testing.
Idah and his Norwich City teammate Tim Krul were both confirmed to have contracted the virus along with an unnamed member of Norwich’s backroom staff.
He is understood to be recovering well while also according to his Norwich City manager Daniel Farke.
Currently, the Cork native is nursing a knee injury so he was not expected to take part in their FA Cup tie against Coventry City this weekend.
“They’ve been isolating for a few days because we tested at the beginning of the week,” Farke explained after news broke of three cases of Covid-19 in the Norwich City camp. “The most important thing is they feel well.
“Tim had some symptoms but it’s not getting worse – more like a cold. It looks quite okay. They have a blocked nose or something so it’s not too bad, but we take it seriously.
“Tim said how poorly you feel when you have it so stay disciplined and he’s spot on. They were isolated from the moment after we took the tests so no reason to be majorly concerned.”
