Bohemians sign defender Rory Feely from St Patrick's Athletic

Bohemians have confirmed the signing of Rory Feely from Dublin rivals St Patrick's Athletic.

The 24-year-old came through the youth ranks at Richmond Park before making his senior debut in 2014.

In 2018 he signed for Waterford during which time he was an ever-present before making the return to Pats at the start of last season.

Gypsies boss Keith Long said: “Rory is a very experienced player having played over 100 Premier Division games despite his relatively young age having only turned 24 on Sunday.

“He is a very athletic and adaptable addition to our squad.

"He will bring good qualities to the team and give us options in several positions with his versatility and ability.”

The former Kildare minor Gaelic footballer is not the first member of his family to play for Bohs.

His older brother Kevin made 23 senior appearances in 2012 before securing a move to Charlton Athletic.
