First Division Wexford re-sign Jack Doherty for 2021

First Division Wexford have confirmed the re-signing of creative midfielder Jack Doherty ahead of the 2021 season.

Doherty re-joined Wexford during the summer transfer window from Longford Town.

The 26-year-old left Wexford initially midway through the 2019 season, but he would return to the club one year later.

While back at the club, Doherty played a key role for Brian O’Sullivan’s charges, helping them to a number of crucial wins towards the end of the season.

“Getting Jack back is a great signing, he gives you real quality in the final third with his passing and ability to go by players,” Wexford manager O’Sullivan said.

“I am really looking forward to seeing how he links up with our attack in the new season.”
