Bohemians sign Tyreke Wilson from Waterford while Keith Ward re-signs for 2021

Premier Division Bohemians have confirmed the acquisition of Waterford full-back Tyreke Wilson.

Wilson joins the Gypsies after a year at the RSC following a prior four-year spell at Manchester City.

His form was ultimately rewarded with a spot in the PFAI Premier Division team of the year, and Bohs boss Keith Long has said that he was pleased with the signing.

“I am delighted to have signed Tyreke and I am looking forward to working with him,” Long said.

“He is a high-quality footballer as can be seen by him being named in the PFAI team of the Year.”

Also committing for 2021 at Dalymount Park is attacking midfielder Keith Ward.

While at the club, Ward has made 148 appearances, contributing 15 goals along the way.

His first spell at Dalymount Park came under Aaron Callaghan in 2012 and Long brought him back to the club four years ago following spells with Dundalk, Sligo Rovers and Derry City.

Long added: “Wardy has been an integral part of our team since he re-signed for the club ahead of the 2017 season.

“He has been excellent for the club and I am delighted he has extended his stay with us.”
