Boost for Bray Wanderers as Dylan Barnett re-signs for 2021

Bray Wanderers boss Gary Cronin has been handed a real boost in regard to his sides’ 2021 promotion ambitions after confirming the re-signing of full-back Dylan Barnett.

Barnett re-signs for the Seagulls after playing every game of their 2020 league campaign as the Wanderers cruelly missed out promotion.

The former Waterford star also scored twice for Bray in 2020, earning himself plenty of praise from many onlookers within the First Division.

This will now be his third season on the spin with the club – and he will be hoping that 2021 will be the year that he can help his hometown club back to the Premier Division.

He played underage football with St Joseph's Boys before moving to England to play for Brighton & Hove Albion.

He was released by Brighton in May 2017 and appeared for Bray Wanderers during the pre-season of 2018 before signing for Alan Reynolds at newly promoted Waterford FC on the opening night of the 2018 season.

In 2019 he joined Bray under then new boss Gary Cronin.
