Enda Curran to leave Galway United

The 28-year-old striker scored three goals in the First Division for Galway United last season and was top scorer for the Tribesmen in the 2015 Premier Division season.

Enda Curran confirmed his departure from Galway United today after returning for a third spell with the club in February of this year. He posted on social media:

“It’s tough writing this as I’ve been a Galway United supporter since the age of 7 and also had the pleasure of playing on the Dyke Road for several seasons.”

“Taking the stage of my life I’m at into consideration and due to my work commitments, it is impossible for me to be able to go full time for Galway United this season! The club is certainly going in the right direction under John Caulfield and I can’t wait to go up and watch the boys again in Eamonn Deacy park.

“Thanks to John and all involved in the club for last season!”

Enda.
