Bray Wanderers confirm re-signing of Gary Shaw ahead of new season

Bray Wanderers have bolstered their attacking options ahead of next year’s First Division campaign with the announcement that Gary Shaw has re-signed for the 2021 season.

The news follows yesterday’s announcement that the club had secured teenage striker Darragh Lynch’s services on a two year contract.

Shaw was The Seagulls top goal scorer in the First Division last season with seven goals to his name in 2020.

He is in his second spell with Wanderers and now has 11 goals in 38 appearances for the club.

The 28 year old striker has a wealth of experience from a League of Ireland career spanning 12 years and counts Shamrock Rovers, Longford Town and St Patrick’s Athletic among his former clubs.

During his time with Longford Town he helped the club to the First Division title in 2014 and made the PFAI First Division Team of the Year that same season.
