Champions League Round-Up: Benfica crash out as Ferencvaros maintain group stages charge

Portuguese giants Benfica have been dumped out of the Champions League qualifiers by Greek side PAOK.

PAOK scored twice in a twelve minute second-half display before Benfica scored a late consolation in injury time.

Garson Rodrigues and Mykola Shaparenko scored as Dynamo Kiev went through against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar by two goals to nil.

Belgian side Gent saw off Austrians Rapid Vienna by two goals to one with Niklas Dorsch and Roman Yaremchuk scoring for the hosts. Yusuf Demir scored a late consolation for the Austrians.

Meanwhile, Omonia Nicosia went through on penalties against FK Crvena Zvezda while Ferencvaros backed up their win over Celtic by defeating Dinamo Zagreb.

Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Dinamo Brest by a goal to nil as Danes FC Midtjylland defeated Swiss side Young Boys three-nil.
