Cork City's clash at home to Dundalk in doubt as Cabinteely have two games rescheduled

It has been confirmed that should Dundalk see off Andorran side Inter Club d’Escaldes in the Europa League on Thursday, their away trip to Turners Cross to face Cork City will be postponed.

The Lilywhites travelled to Andorra on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Thursday’s 6.30pm kick-off (Irish Time).

Should Filippo Giovagnoli’s side come through their Andorran test, they will face Sheriff Tiraspol away from home in Moldova in the third qualifying round.

The game had initially been moved to the Saturday evening kick-off time, however, the Lilywhites will have the game postponed until a later date should they win on Thursday.

Meanwhile, First Division Cabinteely have had two of their upcoming First Division games rescheduled.

Their away trip to Shamrock Rovers II, which was due to take place on Saturday afternoon at 3pm, will now take place on Friday evening at 7.45pm.

Their game against Galway United has also been rescheduled to Monday evening at Stradbrook from its original date on the Tuesday. The game will kick-off at 7.45pm.
