Ringmahon Rangers snap up former Cork City star Graham Cummins as Cameron Harlson joins from Cobh

Former League of Ireland pair Graham Cummins and Cameron Harlson have signed for Ringmahon Rangers in the Munster Senior League Premier Division.

Cummins recently announced his retirement from professional football after a fourteen-year career which brought him through the League of Ireland, the Championship in England, and the Scottish Premiership.

During his career he won the League of Ireland First Division with Cobh Ramblers in 2007 and Cork City in 2010, before lifting the Presidents Cup with the Rebel Army in 2018.

The striker turned defender also played in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League with City and also featured in the 2018 FAI Cup final.

Harlson signs for Ringmahon after three years with Cobh Ramblers. The forward signed for the club in 2017 and played for their under-17s before graduating through the u19s and into the senior team.

He was a pivotal part in the Ramblers 2020 season, which has seen the First Division side remain constantly battling for a play-off spot

The pair will be coached by Kieran O’Reilly, who was a member of the Cobh Ramblers team which won the 2007 First Division, a squad which also featured Graham Cummins.

Last season the club were neck and neck at the top of the Premier Division table and had their chance to win a first title in 49 voided due to Covid-19.

They also reached the semi-finals of the FAI Intermediate Cup, a competition the club have never won, and were beaten 3-2 by eventual runners up Killester-Donnycarney.
