Who are FK Riteriai?

FK Riteriai are a Lithuanian football club based in the city of Vilnius and have been playing in the A Lyga in Lithuania since 2014.

They usually play their games at the LFF Stadium in Vilnius, a ground that has a capacity of just 5,067. They are currently working to extend this capacity to 8,000.

The club was established as recently as  2005 and they made their debut in the A Lyga ( Lithuania's top league) in 2014 finishing a credible 4th place and qualifying for the Europa League.

Their 3rd placed finish in last seasons A Lyga ensured their qualification for this seasons Europa League qualifiers.

Riteriai's head coach Tommi Pikkarainen is from Finland and only took over this month.

Notable players to have played with the club in recent years include Lithuanian internationals Paulius Grybauskas, Vytautas Luksa and Tadas Labukas.

They currently sit bottom of this seasons A Lyga having picked up just eight points from sixteen games.  They are yet to win at home in the league this season.

What European pedigree do FK Riteriai have?

Since making their Europa League debut in the 2015/2016 season they have played a total of twenty games.



Of these twenty games they have picked up nine wins, six draws and have lost five giving them a win percentage of 45%.

Who to watch out for?

Twenty-six year old midfielder Donatas Kazlauskas is part of the current Lithuanian national team. The winger has scored one goal in twelve appearances for Lithuania but has a decent record for Riteriai scoring twenty three goals in fifty eight appearances.
