Former Derry City forward Ronan Curtis scored for Portsmouth this evening as Pompey were held by Oxford United in the League One Playoff semi-final first-leg at Fratton Park.
Curtis was fed in by Portsmouth teammate Andy Cannon, before he saw his effort go into the net under the arms of the Oxford ‘keeper.
However, Curtis’ goal was not enough to see Portsmouth secure a win, with Oxford equalizing late in the first half. The second leg is due to take place on Monday at the Kassam Stadium.
