Bohs loanee Callum Thompson departs Premier League Wolves

Premier League Wolves have confirmed that 19-year-old Dubliner Callum Thompson has departed the club.

The former St Joseph’s Boys schoolboy is currently on loan at Premier Division Bohemians after joining the Gypsies in January.

Thompson did not make a senior appearance during his time at Molineux, and he is yet to appear for Bohemians first-team squad this season.

The former Republic of Ireland under-17 international has left Wolves along with senior players Jordan Graham and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh.

Connor Johnson, Ming-yang Yang, Jed Abbey and Todd Parker have also departed the club’s academy along with the talented Irish underage international.

Executive chairman Jeff Shi said: “To the players who are leaving us at this point, I’d like to place on record my thanks for all of their efforts while representing Wolves.

“We wish them the very best of luck in the future, I hope they can all achieve great success in the game.”
