Pike Rovers unveil signing of former Limerick FC youngster Colm Walsh O'Loghlen

Limerick junior outfit Pike Rovers have unveiled the signing of former Limerick FC winger Colm Walsh O’Loghlen.

Walsh O’Loughlen joins Pike having last featured for Limerick in June, prior to the mid-season break to join his former teammate Robbie Williams at Limerick – who is manager of Pike.

The 20-year-old winger began his League of Ireland career with Mervue United in 2015, where he played with the club’s under-17s side for two seasons.

He soon progressed to the Galway United under-19s, where he was to join before the end of the 2016 season.

The winger joined Limerick’s first-team ahead of the 2018 season, where he was to stay until June 2019.

His last game for the Blues saw Tommy Barrett’s side earn a hard-fought 2-1 win over Galway United at the Markets Field.

He now joins Pike who are preparing for their Munster Junior Cup campaign as the business end of the season approaches on Shannonside.
