Donal Conway to step down in role as FAI President

The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) have confirmed that president Donal Conway is to step down in his role.

Conway was installed as FAI President in August 2018, having served as a FAI board member previously.

His departure comes just days after the news that Three are to end their sponsorship deal with the FAI beyond next summer.

The FAI board will take nominations for the vacant role over the next 30 days.
