WATCH: Former Lilywhite Kurtis Byrne nets as TNS seal record-breaking away win over Airbus UK
Former Dundalk and Bohemians forward Kurtis Byrne got his name on the scoresheet as TNS earned a record-breaking 12-0 away win against Airbus UK.
Byrne netted with just over ten minutes to play to round off the scoring for TNS, who sealed a record-breaking away win in the Welsh Premier League.
The reigning Welsh top-flight champions took a comprehensive five-nil lead into the half-time break, before scoring seven more in a ruthless second half display.
Adrian Cieslewicz scored four, while Greg Draper scored a hat-trick for Scott Ruscoe’s side who equalled Bala Town’s record-breaking 1998 home win over Cemaes Bay.
Byrne got on the act late on, firing home into the back of the net after being fed in on the left-flak with a threaded ball through the middle.
The former Lilywhite was introduced at the half-time break, with former Longford Town midfielder Dean Ebbe also featuring for the Welsh champions.
