League Preview: Cobh Ramblers -v- Bray Wanderers

COBH RAMBLERS

Cobh Ramblers are without a win in six league games as they host Bray Wanderers at St Colman’s Park on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Rams return to home pastures licking their wounds following a narrow 1-0 defeat to league leaders Shelbourne at Tolka Park seven days ago.

Stephen Henderson’s side had several chances to take something from the game but were defeated by Ryan Brennan’s first-half strike.

Cobh Ramblers do not provide team news in advance of games but have no suspensions to contend with.

BRAY WANDERERS

Bray Wanderers remains fifth but are now just three points behind league leaders Shelbourne following last week’s narrow win over Wexford.

A Derek Daly brace at the Carlisle Grounds earned the Seagulls a third win on the bounce despite Danny Furlong pulling a goal back with 20 minutes remaining.

Bray are out of the EA Sports Cup, however, as the last First Division side in the competition were beaten 1-0 at home by Waterford on Monday night.

Bray Wanderers have a full squad with no injuries or suspensions to contend with, and Dean O'Halloran returns after being cup-tied against the Blues.

Referee: Andrew Mullally.

MATCH STATS

The sides have met once so far in the league this season, when Joe Doyle scored the only goal of the game at the Carlisle Grounds.
