Stephen’s Biography
Stephen joined UCD on a scolarship at the start of the 2005 season and spent two years at the club before moving on to Bray Wanderers at the start of the 2007 season.
Two seasons followed at the Carlisle Grounds before Stephen re-joined his home town club Arklow FC who he captained before returning to league football in the summer of 2011, signing on amateur terms for Pat Fenlon at Bohemians.
Stephen made his first appearance for the Gypsies away to Derry City on 17th June 2011 and he made a total of 16 league appearances that season.
In January 2012 Stephen joined newly promoted Shelbourne. He made his senior Shels debut in a Leinster Senior Cup win over Wexford Youths on 9 February 2012 and made 48 league appearances over the next two seasons. Stephen left the club at the end of 2013 when the Reds were relegated from the Premier Division.
