Brian’s Biography

Brian began his career at Bohemians in 2002 but he left the club in 2004 without having made a league appearance for the club to take up a scholarship at UCD.

Brian helped UCD's U21 side to the Dr Tony O'Neill trophy in his first year at Belfield and also made 12 league appearances for the senior side, scoring once. He added another 18 league appearances in 2005 but left the club to sign for Monaghan United in January 2006.

Two seasons followed at Gortakeegan under manager Mick Cooke during which time Brian made 62 league appearances. In 2008 he signed for Sporting Fingal as they embarked on their first ever league season. He stayed with the Ravens for three years and made 64 league appearances under manager Liam Buckley.

In February 2011 he signed for Bobby Browne at Drogheda United. Browne left within days to be replaced by Brian's former boss at Monaghan, Mick Cooke and he went on to make 32 league appearances that season. Brian remained an important member of the Drogheda squad until 30 July 2013 when he left the club with a total of 70 league appearances to his name and five league goals.

Brian joined Shelbourne in August 2013 and made his debut for the Reds in a 1-1 draw away to Bray on 4 August. He finished the season with 7 league appearances but could not prevent Shelbourne's relegation. He re-signed for the Reds ahead of their 2014 season in the First Division and made 25 league appearances, scoring once, in a 1-1 draw with Shamrock Rovers B.
