Mark ’s Biography

Mark is a midfielder who played with Shamrock Rovers in 2007 and 2008. He made 5 appearances in his two years with the Hoops but became more involved in Futsal as time went on, eventually captaining the Irish Futsal team.

Mark joined UCD in 2010 and made his debut for the club in an EA Sports Cup game against his former side, Shamrock Rovers, on 10 May 2010. Mark made just 3 league appearances for the Students in 2011 but 2012 started well as he scored the winner against Cork City on the opening night of the season. He went on to make 14 league appearances over that year and in 2013 he appeared 21 times during the Student's Premier Division campaign. He made a further 19 league appearances during the 2014 season, scoring twice in the process, as UCD were relegated at the end of the season.

In 2015 Mark made 22 league appearances in the First Division and also played in all four Europa League games for the club. UCD reached the promotion play-offs that year but were knocked out by Finn Harps. The following year Mark made a further 22 league appearances for Collie O'Neill's side, scoring once, in what would prove to be his last game for UCD, a 2-1 win over Drogheda United on the final day of the 2016 season.

In February 2017 Mark signed for Alan Mathews at Longford Town and made his debut for the club against Shelbourne on the opening weekend of the 2017 First Division campaign. Mark then left the club in July after making 12 appearances with Longford.
