Dwayne’s Biography

Dwayne came to prominence at UCD during 2010 when manager Martin Russell introduced him to the first team from the college's Leinster Senior set up. He made his league debut as a sub in the 0-0 home draw with Sporting Fingal on 22 April and went on to make 22 league appearances through 2010.

During the winter break Wayne was part of an exodus from the UCD ranks and he signed for Stephen Henderson at Waterford United for the 2011 season. He made 7 league starts for the Blues in 2011, adding 13 appearances from the bench and scored three league goals. Dwayne also scored twice in the 3-0 win over New Ross Celtic in the FAI Cup third round.

In January 2012 Dwayne signed for Aaron Callaghan at Bohemians. He made 16 league appearances in his first season at Dalymount Park but appeared in just five league games in 2013. He scored once in this time, in a 2-2 draw away to Drogheda in May 2013 and was released by the club at the end of June. Days later Dwayne signed for Pat Devlin at Bray Wanderers.

Dwayne's debut for Bray came in a 1-0 defeat away to Dundalk on 26 July but that would be his only appearance of the season. Dwayne signed for UCD for the 2014 season, but left after six appearances at the club in June 2014.

Having dropped out of league football in the summer of 2014 Dwayne joined Carlow side Crettyard United and was part of their Leinster Senior Cup team in 2014/15.
