Michael’s Biography
Michael started his career under David Moyes at Preston North End where he made 56 league appearances between 2000 and 2004. He also had a loan spell at Grimsby Town, joining the Mariners in March 2003 until the end of the season and scoring twice in 7 league appearances.
In June 2004 Michael signed for Hull City where he spent just one season, making 20 league appearances before ending the '04/05 season on loan at Rotherham United. That summer he made a permanent move to Rotherham where he endured a difficult first season, suffering an injury and being sent off three times. But he made 57 league appearances in his two seasons with the Millers before leaving at the end of the 2006/07 season.
In July 2007 Michael joined St Patrick's Athletic but he was released by the club in July 2008
