Bastien’s Biography

Bastien is a French midfielder who came through the underage ranks at Paris Saint Germain before moving to England in July 2012 where he spent a year with Sheffield Wednesday before moving on to Rochdale the following summer. Bastien spent two seasons with Rochdale and then signed for Carlisle United in July 2015. One year later he was on the move again, signing for Accrington Stanley.

In January 2017 Bastien was released by Accrington Stanley after which he came to Ireland to join newly promoted Limerick FC under Martin Russell.

In November 2017, Bastien signed for Waterford FC where he played for a season and a half before leaving the RSC to join Linfield in July 2019. He spent the opening half of 2019/20 in Belfast but returned to the LOI in January 2020 when he joined up with Bohemians.

Bastien's stay at Dalymount Park lasted until August of 2021 when he moved North again, this time signing a loan deal at Derry City until the end of that season. In 2022 he was on the move again, this time signing for Finn Harps before making a summer move to Galway United when he played out that season.

2023 saw a brief pre-season trial period at Wexford FC but he didn't sign for a club until July of that year when he hooked up with tephen Henderson's Longford Town.
