Jonathan’s Biography
Jonathan 'JJ' Lunney played underage football with Malahide United before moving to Preston North End in 2014.
Jonathan returned to Ireland and joined St Patrick's Athletic's U19 side in July 2016. He didn't make his league debut until the end of the campaign but the played in the last three games of the season. His debut came at Turner's Cross against Cork City on 21 October and he scored his first goal for the club four days later against Dundalk at Richmond Park.
Jonathan re-signed for St Pats ahead of the 2017 season.
JJ signed for Bohs ahead of the 2018 season. However, Waterford snapped up JJ in late October 2018 ahead of the 2019 season. In November 2019, JJ signed with Bohs.
In December 2020, JJ signed for Shelbourne in the 2021 First Division.
