Kornel’s Biography
Kornel was called up to the Slovakia squad to face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in March 2016. He was playing with Slovan Bratislava at the time. He started his career off at FK Matador Púchov, before going on to play for FC Petržalka akadémia and Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia. He joined Russian club Rostov in January 2011 before returning to Slovan Bratislava in the summer of 2014.
Kornel was with Slovan Bratislava when they took on UCD in the Second Round Qualifiers in the Europa League during the 2015/16 season.
Kornel was included in Slovakia's squad for the 2016 European Championship.
