Mateo’s Biography
Mateo began his career at Dinamo Zagreb in 2010 but three years later he was on the move to Serie A side, Internazionale of Milan. He spent two years with the Italians and in 2015 he signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Mateo was playing for Real Madrid, who reached the Champions League Final against Atlético Madrid in May 2016, when he was included in Croatia's squad for the 2016 European Championship.
After three seasons in Madrid Mateo spent a year on loan at Chelsea before signing permanently for them in 2019.
