Eric’s Biography
Eric is an Irish goalkeeper who played underage football for Ringmahon Rangers in Cork before joining the academy at Leeds United in the summer of 2011. He was also part of the Leeds squad that visited Ireland in February 2013, to face Cork City, and July 2013, to face Shelbourne. He stayed with the Yorkshire club for a further three seasons before leaving the club at the end of his contract in the summer of 2016, having appeared on the bench twice in the Championship during his last season.
After appearing on trial for Portsmouth FC, Eric returned to Cork to join Cork City in July 2016 but he finished the 2016 season without making a senior appearance for the club, and in January 2017 he signed for Kenny Shiels at Derry City.
