Pontus’s Biography
Pontus began his career at Swedish side IFK Gothenburg in 2005 and made 94 league appearances before signing for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in 2009. After three seasons in Holland Pontus signed for CSKA Moscow in January 2012. He has since made over 100 league appearances for the club and was playing with them when he was included in the Sweden squad for the 2016 European Championship.
Pontus made his international debut in January 2007 against Ecuador.
