Sebastian’s Biography
Sebastien played youth football in Sweden before joining the Arsenal youth set up in 2001 at the age of sixteen. He made his first team debut against Manchester City in October 2004 but made just 3 league appearances before going out on loan to Birmingham City in August 2006.
Sebastian signed a permanent deal at St Andrews in January 2007 and scored 19 goals in 184 league appearances during his five years at the club. In July 2011 he signed for Sunderland and has since made over 150 league appearances for the club. He was still on Wearside when he was included in the Sweden squad for the 2016 European Championship.
Sebastian made his international debut against Turkey in February 2008 and scored his first senior international goal in a 2-1 win over Moldova in March 2011.
