About Joseph Yobo
Joseph is a Nigerian international centre back who left Africa in 1998 to join Belgian side Standard Liege and made 46 appearances for them before signing for Marseilles in 2001. In the summer of 2002 he became David Moyes' first signing at Everton and he made 196 league appearances in nine seasons at Goodison Park. In 2012 he signed for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig but returned to England on loan with Norwich City in January 2014.
Joseph made his international debut for Nigeria in 2001 and played at the 2002 World Cup Finals in Japan/South Korea, the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa, and the 2014 World Cup Finals in Brazil.
