Ivan’s Biography
Ivan came through the youth academy at Hajduk Split and was signed by French club, Sochaux, in the Summer of 2006. Still a teenager he played for Sochaux's B team as well as going to Belgian side Roeselare on loan.
In August 2009 he left France to sign for Club Brugge and he played for the Belgian side for two years before a 2011 move to Borussia Dortmund. A year and a half later he left Dortmund to join Vfl Wolfsburg where he played until August 2015 when he left Germany to sign for Internazionale of Milan.
Ivan spent the next four years at Inter before a season-long loan spell at Bayern Munich in 2019/20, after which he returned to Milan.
Ivan made his senior international debut for Croatia in March 2011 against Georgia.
