Limerick's Thomond opener to be televised

RTÉ have chosen Limerick's home fixture with Cork City as the first live Airtricity League game to be televised during the 2013 campaign. The Munster derby will be played at Thomond Park and has been moved to Sunday, March 10thin order to facilitate the broadcast. The game will be shown on RTÉ Two.

 

A total of four games will be shown live on RTÉ during the month of March, with Shamrock Rovers featuring twice. RTÉ intend on showing a fixture on March 29th, but have yet to select the tie.

 

The RTÉ Airtricity League schedule for March is as follows:

 

Sunday 10 March: Limerick v Cork City, Thomond Park, 5.15pm, RTÉ Two

Friday 15 March: Shamrock Rovers v St Patrick’s Athletic, Tallaght Stadium, 7.35pm, RTÉ Two

Sunday 24 March: Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers, Tolka Park, 3.55pm, RTÉ Two



Friday 29 March: TBC, RTÉ Two
