BRAY WANDERERS

Bray Wanderers go into their last home game of the season knowing they will need a maximum six points from their remaining two games to have a slim hope of moving into ninth. The Seagulls trail UCD by five points and also have a slightly inferior goal difference.

Bohemians are Friday's opponents and Bray will face them without two players due to suspension. Adam Mitchell serves a ban following his sending off against Shamrock Rovers while defender Dane Massey is also serving a ban having reached the limit of four yellow cards. Coming back into the team will be John Mulroy and Shane O’ Connor who both missed Bray’s last game through injury.

Looking ahead to Friday night Bray manager Pat Devlin said, “Bray and Bohemians have a great tradition and games between us are always interesting. Aaron Callaghan has done a good job since he came in and they will be difficult to beat”. 

BOHEMIANS

Bohs make the trip to the Seaside this week looking to finish strongly in order to gain fifth spot and claim a Setanta Cup spot. With a game in hand on Derry City and Shelbourne and equal on points with Cork City, the Gypsies can still top the mid-table group of four.

With regards to team news, defender Kevin Feely returns from suspension for Friday’s game. Missing are Adam Martin and Dave Scully who are both suffering with ankle injuries. Derek Pender and Evan McMillan will both face late fitness tests but are expected to be available.

Manager Aaron Callaghan seems very determined going into the game.

“We need to make sure that our concentration levels are high. There’s no reason why we can’t win the game if we can raise those levels. We’re certainly going there to get a win.”

MATCH STATS

These sides have met twice already this season in the League with the first finishing in a stalemate in Dalymount Park and the second seeing Bray emerge victorious, beating the Gypsies 2-1 with goals from Jason Byrne and Danny O’ Connor.

Bray have now gone two months without a win, their last coming against St. Pat’s.

Bohs away form this season has been quite abysmal, losing 8 games and winning only 3.
