Burnley has confirmed the acquisition of seasoned forward, Nathan Redmond, on a two-year contract with an option for an additional year. Redmond has recently parted ways with his former team, Besiktas.

Redmond scored six goals in 28 appearances for the Black Eagles last season. Prior to his stint in Turkey, he accumulated over 250 Premier League appearances playing for Southampton, Norwich City, and Birmingham City.

At the age of 29, Redmond is ready to reignite his Premier League career with Burnley, becoming the fifth addition to their squad in this summer transfer window.

On his move, Redmond expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I always had aspirations to play again in the Premier League. Burnley’s project matches with my ambitions."

He further noted the role of the management team in his decision, adding, "The management team feel like they can enhance my game more and see the value I can bring on and off the field. It feels like a perfect match."

Burnley manager, Vincent Kompany, praised Redmond's skill set and experience. "Nathan brings a wealth of experience from playing in the Premier League and more recently from his time in Turkey where he’s been outstanding. We’re looking forward to playing a big part in his next chapter."

Kompany also commended Redmond's character, stating, "He’s got a great work ethic, plenty of skill and a willingness to continue learning. He also brings his personality and character to this football club which will benefit the younger players here.”
