Luke McNally signs two-year contract with St Patrick's Athletic

St Patrick’s Athletic have announced that Luke McNally has signed a new two year contract with the club.

The defender originally joined the club in 2017 having spent two seasons playing for Drogheda United’s Under 17 side.

McNally played for the Saints Under 19 team in 2017 and 2018 before getting his first taste of regular first team football last year.

The 20 year old secured a loan move to Drogheda United and played regularly for Tim Clancy’s side including appearing in both legs of the playoff final against Finn Harps which the Boynesiders eventually lost.

He played in Saints scoreless pre-season friendly against Wexford last weekend.

Stephen O’Donnell’s men continue their preparations for the new season with a friendly against Athlone Town on Wednesday night in Athlone Town Stadium (kick off 7.30pm).
