FAI Junior Cup last 16 draw revealed

The FAI Junior Cup last 16 draw has been revealed, pitting up some mouth-watering ties after the last 32 of the tournament.

An all-Limerick tie will take place between Pike Rovers and eight-time champions Fairview Rangers – after both sides came through the seventh round relatively unscathed.

Usher Celtic have been drawn to take on 2018/19 Leinster Senior Cup semi-finalists Sheriff YC at home, while Tolka Rovers or Castlebar Celtic will host Gorey Rangers.    

Wexford side Crettyard United have been drawn to take on Buncrana Hearts or Killarney FC – with the clash between the Co. Donegal and Kerry side yet to take place.

Trim Celtic, Avenue United or Ferrybank FC will host Oliver Bond – with Oliver Bond seeing off Kildrum Tigers by two goals to one.

Rush Athletic have been handed a tie at home to face Greencastle AFC, after both sides edged their way past Villa FC and St Michael’s.

Meanwhile, Athenry have been drawn to face Crumlin United at home, while Westport United will take on Newpark FC.
