Longford Town sign defender Dylan Hand from Dundalk

Longford Town have confirmed the capture of Dundalk player Dylan Hand.

Hand signed his first professional contract with the Lilywhite’s at the start of the 2019 season. Previously he’d been a part of the Louth’s side youth setup before earning a move across the water to Chesterfield. In August 2018, Hand returned home to Ireland and joined Dundalk’s U19 side.

New manager Vinny Perth then decided to hand the defender his first professional contract with the club on the eve of the 2019 season, however, with opportunities few and far between Hand has now chosen to move to the Midlands in pursuit of First Team football with Longford Town his club of choice.
