Mikey Foley signs first senior deal with Cobh Ramblers

First Division Cobh Ramblers have confirmed that midfielder Mikey Foley has signed his first senior contract with the club.
Foley made his senior debut for the Rams towards the tail-end of the 2019 campaign in the 1-1 draw at home to Pat Devlin’s Cabinteely.
The midfielder has risen through the ranks at the Rams and has suitably impressed to earn himself a new deal at St Colman’s Park.
The Cobh native first joined the club’s under-17 side in 2018 and quickly progressed to under-19 level.
He then made his senior debut at home to Cabinteely towards the end of the 2019 season and made three first team appearances in total.
A product of the Springfield Ramblers academy, Mikey has also spent time with Cobh Wanderers.
The secondary student was a member of the FAI Munster Schools Squad in 2018 and picked up the club’s Academy Player of the Year Award in 2019.
