WATCH: Clare Shine scores late winner in Scottish Cup Final

Republic of Ireland international Clare Shine has put her name down in Glasgow City folklore after her late strike won the Scottish Cup final at Tynecastle.

Watched in front of a record attendance of 3,123 – Shine scored twice to earn the Player of the Match award.

Amy Gallacher gave Hibernian a first-half lead before Eilish McSorley levelled for Glasgow City shortly after.

Leanne Crichton’s then put City a goal ahead before they were pegged back by the Hibs through a Jamie Lee-Napier goal.

Leanne Ross then had the ignominy of scoring an own-goal to give the Edinburgh side the lead, before a brace from Shine sealed a dramatic win for City.

The former Cork City star scored first with a header, before embarking on a superb solo run to win the cup for Glasgow.

She slalomed her way past two players at the death to seal a pulsating win for her side – their eighth cup success since 2004.
