Watch: Galway Cup Day 1

The Galway Cup, now in its 15th Year enjoyed another great day one at Drom, the home of Salthill Devon.

Thirty two games were played over nine and a half hours, with 96 goals being scored throughout in a variety of age groups.

The excellent weather contributed greatly to an exciting opening day while scoring honours went to the Mayo League who scored seven in their game.

The action resumes on Thursday for day two as the competition will conclude on Saturday 10th of August.

Shrewsbury Town are the sole foreign representative taking part in the 2019 Galway Cup, with a host of League of Ireland club’s also taking part.
