Quarter-Final draws for Enda McGuill Cup and Mark Farren Cup made

The draws have been made for the quarter finals of the SSE Airtricity League Under-19 Enda McGuill Cup and the Under-17 Mark Farren Memorial Cup.

In the Enda McGuill Cup Dundalk have been drawn against Finn Harps after both sides overcame their fiercest rivals in the previous round.

Dundalk were taken all the way to penalties by their Louth rivals Drogheda United with the Lillywhites coming out on top with a 3-1 win after spot kicks, while Finn Harps defeated Derry City 3-1 to go through to the quarter-finals.

Sligo Rovers are still waiting to find out who their opponents will be with UCD and St Patrick’s Athletic set to play on Tuesday, 17 July for that last place in the quarter-finals.

Cork City and Galway United had big wins in the last round of the Mark Farren Memorial Cup. Cork defeated Kerry 3-0 while Galway United smashed Longford Town 6-0. The sides now face each other in the quarter-finals.

Dates and kick-off times are still to be confirmed with all games set to take place on Tuesday, July 24 and Wednesday, July 25.
