Wexford Youths drawn alongside hosts Linfield in Champions League groups

For the second successive year, the Women's National League winners' Champions League fate will be decided in Belfast.

Titleholders Wexford Youths were drawn alongside Linfield, Thor/KA of Iceland and the Netherlands' champions AFC Ajax at the ceremony in Nyon on Thursday.

With Linfield having been drawn as one of ten host cities in advance of the draw, all six group games will be split between Belfast and another Northern Irish location.

Last year saw Shelbourne drawn alongside Linfield, Medyk Konin of Poland and PK-35 Vantaa of Finland.

The Red Pandas went unbeaten throughout the three-game series but were beaten into first position by the Polish champions.

Wexford will travel to Belfast for the three-date series between August 7th and 13th, with dates and venues to be confirmed in due course.
