UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship Final draw
The UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship Final draw has been made in Reykjavik City Hall in Iceland today. The Finals, that will be played in Iceland this summer from June 22nd to July 4th, will see the Republic of Ireland square off in Group B.
The girls in green qualified for the tournament as the best runners up but are set for a tough challenge, as they face three-time runners up France and Switzerland. Both sides topped their elite phase groups with 3 wins from 3. The final team in the group is Norway, who clinched their spot on the final day of Elite qualifiers against Nordic neighbours Sweden in a crucial 1 – 1 draw.
Current holders Germany face a tough group in Group A which consists of Iceland, England and Spain.

Group A: Iceland (hosts), Germany (holders), England, Spain
Group B: Republic of Ireland, France, Switzerland, Norway
The competition will be played in the format of a round-robin with the sides in each group playing each other, with the top two teams in each group progressing to the semi-finals.
